Muga, a great producer of Rioja

While in Spain, we were lucky enough to visit Bodegas Muga, one of the most respected producers of Rioja wine. Muga employs natural ‘fining’ techniques, using hundreds of egg whites per day. This gentleman is separating whites from yolks, using an ingenious machine.

Shrimp on the Barbie

This is a photo from Jeff’s trip to Spain with Jorgé Ordoñez. These six inch long shrimp were delivered at the winery by taxi - total cost, over 4000 euros!
(and yes, they were fabulous.  Shrimp and sea salt, what more do you need?)
